These warehouse hubs are a selection of existing and under-development warehouse hubs that have made great changes in the logistics industry.

1-Bahrain Investment Wharf

Bahrain Investment Wharf (BIW) as one of the  Middle Easte warehouse hubs has boosted Bahrain’s logistics industry. This  warehouse hub is being constructed on a land measuring 1.7 million square meters in the Hidd industrial area, near to Bahrain Inteational Airport and the new Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman port.

This  warehouse hub includes a 900,000m2 logistics park for supply chain activities such as warehouse storage, packaging and distribution.

2-AjmanFree Zone

To support its economic growth, the emirate of Ajman established a free zone in 1996. This industrial center at the entrance to the Arabian Gulf has become the emirate’s sole regulator, exporting to over 64 countries around the world while housing 20% of the UAE’s manufacturing units.

The proximity to Sharjah and Dubai provides easy access to two inteational airports and four seaports, with Ajman Port becoming a leading maritime hub, serving over 1000 vessels annually. As well, Ajman Free Zone Authority (AFZA) secured financing last month from Ajman Bank to complete the third phase of its large-scale warehouse complex. This agreement is a type of Islamic finance known as Ijarah and will support the free zone’s continued growth as a storage and transportation hub.

3-DubaiAirportFree Zone

There are a number of factors contributing to the continued success of Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ), including its accessibility to over 1.5 billion consumers and over 100 leading inteational airlines. With revenue increasing by 48% during the first half of 2009, the facility experienced another period of growth as a pioneer of the Middle East’s free zone revolution.

DAFZ’s extensive air cargo networking services are one of the main highlights of the facility. These services are boosted by a close working relationship with the airport’s Dubai Cargo Village and the Free Zone Logistics Center, which are both located in the Free Zone.

4-Bahrain Logistics Zone

Bahrain Logistics Zone’s management team has adopted a full-throttle marketing campaign, visiting all coers of the globe to promote their forthcoming “boutique” logistics zone in Khalifa Bin Salman Port.

This  warehouse hub brings massive benefits to the Kingdom’s economy. In addition to generating US$600 million in foreign direct investment, the project is expected to create 2400 medium- to high-wage jobs. In addition, the improved logistics infrastructure and the attractive business prospects are expected to draw many other companies to the Kingdom.

5-Dubai Logistics City

The Dubai Logistics City (DLC) is a 25 square kilometer complex designed to handle the warehousing and transportation needs of the Middle East for the next 40 to 50 years. Twelve million square feet of land will be allocated for the multibillion-dollar development, which is near Jebel Ali Port and the Al Maktoum Inteational Airport and industrial companies.

6-Salalah Free Zone

The Salalah Free Zone was developed to provide its tenants with access to one of the fastest growing markets in the world, including over 1.6 billion consumers in the Middle East, East Africa, and the Indian Ocean Rim. Located near Salalah Port, this warehouse hub combines warehousing, industrial and manufacturing facilities on 200 hectares of land.

Solar power is a form of energy that is derived from the sun’s rays and uses the power and heat that the sun produces. History of solar power

There has always been a fascination with the sun among mankind since the beginning of time. As far back as ancient civilizations are conceed, the sun was regarded as a god or goddess by ancient civilizations. Silicon photovoltaic cells were developed by Bell Labs in 1954. It was not until 1954 that solar energy began to be a viable source of electricity to power devices, despite the fact that it had previously been captured and converted into usable energy through various methods. Today’s solar panels are capable of converting sunlight into electricity with efficiency levels above 20%, a number that is constantly increasing. The first solar cells convert solar radiation into electricity with a 4 percent efficiency rate.

The cost of solar had been driving down for some time, but state and federal policy incentives have reduced the cost of solar far enough to make it more widely adopted. There are 126 million residential households in the country, and solar power powering 11 million of them is enough to meet their needs.

How does solar power work?

Almost everyone has seen photovoltaic (PV) panels on a rooftop, a handheld solar device, or even a spacecraft – these large, mirror-like panels. A solar panel operates as a conductor, absorbing the sun’s rays, heating them up, and converting them into energy (and electricity).

It is also possible to haess the power of the sun on a larger scale by using solar thermal power plants to create energy. The purpose of these plants is to use the heat of the sun to boil water, which will then be used to power steam turbines. It is estimated that thousands of people can be supplied with electricity by these plants.

Why is solar power a “greener” choice?

Solar Power( such as wind power and unlike fossil fuels) is an unlimited and permanent energy resource. With improvement of technology the PV panels materials become “greener”. The carbon footprint of solar power shrinks more and more and the use of solar power becomes more accessible to the masses so the use of fossil fuels will reduce

Why isn’t solar power more common?

Just like wind power, solar power is dependent on weather conditions and sunlight levels in a particular area. Consequently, areas with poor sunlight or often cloudy weather may have difficulties utilizing solar power.

Furthermore, solar power can be an expensive endeavor. In addition to requiring a large amount of land, these technologies are often very expensive. But with improvement of technology scientists try to find an affordable, efficient solution for using solar power instead of fossil fuels.

Photovoltaic panels ( pv panels) have been the subject of many news and discussions in recent years, especially when faced with the energy crisis in Europe. However, many aspects and capabilities of this source of energy have remained unknown.

1- Solar energy is the most abundant source of energy on earth

The solar energy that reaches the earth every hour is enough to meet the energy needs of everyone on the planet for the entire year .

If we could control even one hour of solar energy reaching the Earth each year, we could keep every ounce of oil, every piece of coal, and every cubic foot of natural gas in the ground.

For example, if the Mojave Desert is covered with photovoltaic panels, it will produce more than twice the electricity that the United States uses annually.

2- The price of solar panels has decreased by 99% since 1977!

A simple solar cell cost about $77 per watt in 1977. According to the Solar Energy Industries Association and GTM Research’s Solar Market Report published in the third quarter of 2017, the cost of a solar cell is now 21 cents per watt. The whole assembled module costs 39 cents per watt.

3- Solar energy is cheaper than fossil fuels!

According to an analysis by Lazard, unsubsidized solar costs 4.3 cents per kilowatt-hour, which is cheaper than almost any option for new fossil-fuel power plants. The cheapest fossil fuel option is natural gas, which costs between 4.2 and 7.8 cents per kilowatt hour.

Depending on the location, solar energy is cheaper than coal, diesel, nuclear, and in most cases, natural gas, especially in the South American countries. If the cost reduction patte is taken into account, it won’t be long before solar power overtakes any form of fossil fuel.

4- Solar power plants can last 40 years or more!

When a solar plant is built, it is usually backed by a power purchase agreement from a customer that lasts 20 to 25 years, but that doesn’t mean the plant will be worthless two decades from now.

Not only do photovoltaic panels last 40 or 50 years, but the infrastructure of a solar power plant is very valuable. Photovoltaic panels may be replaced by newer, more efficient modules at a lower cost. In this way, they improve their performance, but once this base is established and the infrastructure is built, the solar power plant has a very long life.

5- China is the biggest leader in solar energy

Solar energy is starting to get a lot of attention in the US, but it’s still very small compared to China. GTM Research estimated in 2017 that the US would install 12.4 gigawatts of new solar energy systems. China installed 24.4 GW of solar power capacity in the first half of this year alone, and will probably exceed 50 GW for the entire year.

باتری لیتیوم پلیمر یک باتری قابل شارژ است که برخلاف باتری لیتیوم یونی بجای الکترولیت مایع از الکترولیت جامد استفاده میکند و در واقع پیشرفته تر و تکامل یافته تر از باتری لیتیوم یونی است.این باتری انژری بالاتری نسبت به سایر انواع باتری دارد و بدلیل وزن پایین در دستگاههایی که وزن پایین اولویت است مانند تلفن های همراه، هواپیماهای مدل و رایانه ها قابل استفاده است.

اگر از باتری لیپو استفاده می کنید باید از نحوه کنترل ایمن این باتری ها آگاهی داشته باشید تا از آسیب دیدگی جلوگیری کنید. استفاده نادرست از باتری لیپو خسارت های احتمالی را ایجاد می کند و به طور بالقوه باعث آتش گرفتن باتری می شود و آسیب جدی به همراه دارد همچنین باتری های لیتیوم پلیمری در دماهای پایین نمیتوانند به خوبی کار کنند چون سرما میتواند به شدت بر روی واکنش‌های شیمیایی داخل باتری تاثیر گذار بوده و عملکرد آن‌ها را مختل کند

بهترین دما برای باتری‌های لیتیوم پلیمری 35 درجه سانتی گراد است. از دمای 18 درجه سانتی گراد به پایین ،رفته رفته عملکرد باتری تحت تاثیر قرار گرفته و قدرت و زمان پرواز آن به مرور کم می‌شود. هر چه که دما پایین تر میرود احساس می‌کنید که باتری شما ضریب تخلیه پایین‌تر و زمان پرواز کمتری دارد.
بنابراین باید بیشتر به ولتاژ باتری خود توجه کنید امکان تخلیه باتری در هوای سرد زمستان بسیار بالا بوده و ظرفیت موثر آن کمتر از حد نرمال خواهد بود.
بهترین کار این است که در هنگام پرواز باتری بعدی را در جیب خود بگذارید تا گرم شده و آماده پرواز شود.

اگر قصد پرواز در برف یا باران را دارید باید ضد آب کردن قطعات با استفاده از روکش های مخصوص را در الویت کار خود قرار دهید. از آنجاییکه بسیاری از قطعات الکترونیکی در مجاورت با رطوبت شدید کارایی خود را از دست می‌دهد و یا حتی می‌سوزند، استفاده از روکش‌های ضد آب میتواند کمک قابل توجهی به حفاظت پرنده شما در هنگام پرواز در فضای مرطوب زمستان و همچنین سقوط آن در یک مکان مرطوب و حتی خیس باشد.

باتری‌های لیتیوم پلیمری نسبت به دیگر باتری‌هایی که برای وسایل کنترل از راه دور مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرند (مانند NiCd و NiMH) از ایمنی بیشتر و سازگاری بالاتری با محیط زیست برخوردارند. به طوریکه هم اکنون باتری‌های لیتیوم پلیمری بالاترین کاربرد را در بین باتری‌ها در زمینه RC (قایق، هواپیما، ماشین ،مولتی روتور و …) دارند و بهترین انتخاب برای فانتوم‌ها ، اینسپایر ، ماتریس600 و … است. اما با همه این‌ها اگر شارژ، دشارژ و نگه‌داری این باتری‌ها به درستی انجام نشود، میتواند خطرات جبران ناپذیری را برای کاربر و همچنین وسیله گران‌قیمت آن متحمل شود
